I'm going crazy
Here we go again...
August 3
Shin revealed that he lied to me yesterday.
...About what now?
He admitted that what he said about my parents wasn't true.
Yesterday, he told me they couldn't pick me up because they were busy with work.
Then today...
He confessed that was a lie.
Apparently, he only wanted to keep me to himself because of my amnesia.
...Wow.
Then...
He immediately said that was a lie too.
...
...
Excuse me?
Orion completely lost it.
Again.
Shin finally admitted my parents really do work overseas.
What is this guy's deal...?
Even Orion looked exhausted trying to understand Shin's personality.
Honestly...
I don't really get him either.
But I don't think he's a bad person.
I just... don't understand him.
He seemed genuinely surprised that I wasn't reacting the way I normally would.
Apparently, the old me would probably be pouting by now.
Well...
That's understandable.
We've been childhood friends for years.
To him, I'm acting like a completely different person.
I can understand why that would be unsettling.
But...
I can't pretend to remember things I don't.
After that, Shin took me to our Uni.
His plan was to show me familiar places and hopefully trigger some memories.
He showed me the classroom where our band usually practiced.
Apparently, activities are on hold because of my injuries.
Then he casually mentioned something.
This was also the place where he confessed to me.
...
And where we had our first kiss.
I tried to focus and remember.
Instead...
He kissed me.
Shin.
We're at Uni.
You idiot.
Apparently, he thought repeating the moment might trigger my memories.
Then he immediately called himself stupid.
...
Hehehe.
That was actually kind of sweet.
I told him I didn't mind.
Big mistake.
Because he immediately looked ready for round two.
HEY.
I DIDN'T MEAN IT LIKE THAT, YOU CRAZY DUDE!
Thankfully, we continued touring the Uni instead.
Not long after...
Another memory returned.
I saw Shin talking to Toma, the one we visited yesterday on the cafe.
They were discussing an upcoming live performance where I was supposed to sing.
As usual, Shin's words were unbelievably blunt.
Everything he said was harsh...
But it was also true.
Toma tried to soften the conversation, while Shin just said exactly what he was thinking.
Honestly...
That's just the way he speaks.
After the memory ended, I told Shin I'd remembered something.
Instead of celebrating...
He looked frustrated.
Apparently because I remembered something outside the classroom...
Instead of remembering anything from the kiss.
HAHAHAHA.
We talked about my job afterward.
More specifically...
My condition.
I told him I didn't want my coworkers knowing about my amnesia.
He understood immediately.
Considering all my injuries, I probably won't be working much for a while anyway.
Shin mentioned that he used to work there too.
He offered to teach me everything again.
...
Which sounds helpful.
But there's one problem.
How brutal is training under someone this Spartan...?
